My Immortal is the third single from rock band Evanescence's major label debut album, Fallen. At the 47th Annual Grammy Awards the song was nominated in the Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group category. Several versions of the song exist: two old demo versions; the one featured on Fallen; their Mystary EP version; My Immortal Band Version; and finally the version in which the final phrase of the music is filled with heavy guitars and drums which was included as an additional track in newer editions of their album Fallen. The video for was shot in Barcelona and played in black-and-white. Throughout the video, singer Amy Lee is never seen touching the ground. When asked about this by an observant fan, she replied that it is because she is a ghost. You can check the Lyrics here.
