This video shows some of the optical images taken by Hubble Telescope. The Hubble is a Space Telescope which is in an orbit around earth. Originally conceptualized in 1946, and launched during 1990, Hubble started working only after a servicing mission to space that was sent in 1993 to correct the spherical abberation problem in the main mirror. Hubble's successor telescope, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), is due to be launched in 2013 and will be far superior to Hubble for most astronomical research programs.
